by Sarah’s students of Glamorous Studio in Middletown.
Students
are those from her Monday Evening Beginners Class & Thursday
Evening Advanced
class .

| Sarah’s Newburgh Class from
Strictly Ballroom Studio & her Poughkeepsie class are scheduled to
perform as well |

| The Main Theme of the
Performance will focus on the re-enactment of Belly dancing in our our
American Culture, in the 1960’s. |
During this time, the
Popularity of Belly Dancing & Middle Eastern Music Exploded in
this Country.
It became a “A Mecca for Lovers” of Israeli, Greek, Arabic,
Turkish , Italian & Spanish ethnicity. |

Everyone would come
together to dance & share their countries dances under
one roof in the NYC Night Clubs.
Middle Eastern music is rich
in deeply felt emotion dedicated to love of family & country. |

There will be Solo Performances as well as Group performances
by students.
|
There will be a brief description of the history of Middle Eastern
Dance and how it Migrated to
each country before arriving in the US in 1898.

|
Guests are encouraged to join in these ethnic dances of Miserlou,
Hava Naglia, Arabic Debke, Greek Dancing & the Tarentealla. |

Light Snacks & refreshments will be
served. |
